Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed their freshman year at an accredited college or university in the central Ohio chapter area (Franklin and contiguous counties). Candidates must be enrolled or accepted in the term immediately following the award (generally fall term), either full- or part-time. Candidates must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average.Candidates must be “students of merit” who are interested in a career in the private security, law enforcement, or criminal justice professions.Candidates must attend one of the following colleges or universities:Capital UniversityCentral Ohio Technical CollegeColumbus State Community CollegeDenison UniversityFranklin UniversityHocking Technical CollegeKenyon CollegeMuskingum UniversityOhio Dominican UniversityOtterbein UniversityOhio Wesleyan UniversityOhio UniversityThe Ohio State UniversityZane State CollegeCandidates may be ASIS members or non-members.
